The Bugalugs Dematting Rake has 9 teeth on one side for optimum de-matting and detangling without causing damage to the coat, and 17 on the other for thinning and swiftly clearing away loose and excess hair from the undercoat. Perfect for double coats, long coats, and wiry coats, using the de-matting rake will help to distribute natural oils through the fur, restoring shine to the coat, stimulating blood circulation for better delivery of oxygen to the hair follicles, massaging the skin and relieving stress caused by matted fur, dirt, and outside allergens. For a fuss free experience, using the 9 teeth brush side, remove matts and tangles from the hair and coat by holding the roots of your pet’s hair and gently combing slowly and smoothly, gliding the smooth edge along the fur with minimal pressure. With the 17 teeth brush side, use all over the body (avoiding legs, head, and tail) to remove loose and excess hair from the undercoat, making sure to pull loose skin to prevent catching on the blade. Once completed, remove all hair from the rake and ensure teeth are kept dry after cleaning.
