My two little ones absolutely hate it... I've tried to introduce it slowly so they get used to it and they still absolutely hate it... its like if we bite into a lemon... and I dont want to use it any more as I dont want to put them off from getting their teeth cleaned... so I feel.lime I've wasted my money on another product 😕
Easy to use and simple to apply so good for wriggly subjects 😂. Will be adding it to our regular routine along with the dental spray

This is such a good product! It smells so nice I almost want to taste it myself!! Lunas not the best at letting me touch her teeth (it’s something we’re working on) but this product makes it super easy! Because it’s gel I put a little on my finger and apply it to my dogs teeth! Makes her breath smell so good!

perfect product and easy to use
This tooth cleaning gel for cats and dogs is very easy to use. You only have to apply a couple of drops in your pets mouth for it to work. It performs well and really helps reduce mouth odor and help with cleanliness. You get a lot of product in the bottle and a little goes a long way making it great value. I'm very pleased with it.

My dog is still not keen but is easier to use than toothpaste and brush so I will persevere

My older dogs can no longer have anesthesia dental cleaning. Our local pet store used Bugalugs clean teeth gel and their teeth looked noticeably better after only one treatment. I was struggling with finding a solution to having their teeth cleaned and now I have it.

A great idea but my boy doesn't like the taste and resists taking it.
We love the Bugalugs dog shampoo, so decied to buy some of the other products. This gel was a big no from our dog. She regularly gets her teeth brushed, nails done etc, and she is very calm throughout the process. This gel is so minty that even for the human nose it smells very strong, and I could almost feel it in my eyes. Dog absolutely hates it, makes weird faces when a drop touches her gum, then dramatically leaves the room.

One of my older dogs has a bit of a build-up of plaque on his teeth, and I was told by the vet that it would be worth getting him some dog toothpaste to see if this helps. She advised putting it on a finger and stroking it onto his teeth, but he is not keen!I think the ingredients in this are good, and it seems like a quality toothpaste (I have also used other products from this brand and they are always good), but I think I need to find another way of helping him with his teeth - I have tried putting a few drops of this on his dog chew, and this seems to be the best way for now! I have tried doing as the product suggests and dropping it into his mouth, but I think he wondered what I was doing - not keen!A good product if your dog will have it. Try on a chew if needs be!
My cat is 13 years old so his teeth are needing more and more attention. I've tried brushing his teeth with meat flavoured toothpaste, but he will have absolutely none of it. This is a good alternative in that you don't have to put it in their mouth, just around it so they lick it off.He's still not a fan of having it done, but we both come out of the encounter less traumatised and neither of us are bleeding, so that's a plus.The gel is mint scented (and I assume flavoured), which I assume is to freshen breath, but I think it would be more enjoyable for the pet if it had a meatier scent/flavour - bad breath will go away once dental hygiene is improved and I don't really need my cat's breath to smell minty fresh!It's hard to tell how well it works, but hopefully the vet will notice a difference on his next visit

It's so important to look after your dogs' teeth as when they get older, they often have problems and need to have teeth pulled. For this reason we have been brushing our dogs teeth ever since she was a puppy, she doesn't particularly like it but tolerates it. We have tried different types of toothbrushes but never a gel so was intrigued to try this. This teeth gel by Bugalugs does not require brushing which is fantastic. All you have to do is put it in your dogs mouth and your pooch will start licking and distributing the gel around the mouth.It helps with gum health, reduces plaque and tartar build up and also helps freshen their breath which is key as a stinky dog mouth just isn't pleasant to be around. We really rate this and it's fantastic as it's super easy and convenient to use.
Not sure how effective this truly is. The dog is not a fan of having this in his mouth and it's getting harder and harder to give it to him. It does have a nice mint smell to it.In terms of use you unscrew the top nozzle part of the lid which moves up slightly allowing you to use this bottle as a dropper. The idea is to put a drop each side of your dogs mouth and as they lick it that spreads it around the rest of the mouth. The bottle is 250ml so if you can give this to your dog it will last a nice long time.

This made our dog sneeze, it has quite a minty smell to it and she has started sneezing with times I tried to use it. She may just be sensitive to the scent, but in terms of the product I think it's a great idea to be able to clean their teeth without brushing which so many dogs dislike. A much easier stress freeu method, and she certainly licked lots like the instructions said she would so I imagine it's working well!
A good idea - no brush dog toothpaste. My dog doesn't like his teeth being brushed but let me apply this gel/paste with no problems. He spent the next 10 minutes licking his teeth so hopefully it'll keep them nice and clean
This is very simialr to one I have used for a couple of years on our older dog and he knows the deal so he was happy for me to use this just with my finger in his mouth but my younger dog took a lot more effort! Its still easier than brushing though even with him so I find this more convenient. Its a good healthy treatment and worth the effort and this is a good value option from a brand I trust as have used a lot of doggy products from Bugalugs over the past couple of years so would definitely recommend trying as very happy with it.
Unsure how well it cleans my cat’s teeth, but good for her breath and good to have on hand as a substitute for when she’s not a willing accomplice to having her teeth brushed!
