Protecting the Paws and Joints in Colder Weather
The colder months can often bring about stiff joints, and dry and cracked skin and paws, so it’s important that pawrents keep on top of their pet’s needs during this time. Ensuring the fur around paws is trimmed is a great way to prevent ice build-up in between the toes, as this can cause frost bite and soreness. Regular use of our Nose and Paw Balm can prevent the paws and nose from becoming dry, cracked, and sore. Made with Colloidal Oatmeal the Nose and Paw Balm helps to form a protective barrier on the paws to prevent harmful chemicals like grit on the roads from directly touching your pet’s paws. How to Protect Your Pet During Autumn and Winter
As autumn approaches and the nights grow darker, pets become harder to spot on the roads. It’s crucial to ensure your pets wear high-visibility gear during walks and are kept indoors at night when unsupervised. Cats are naturally predatory animals, and they often tend to roam around during dusk and dawn which puts them at a higher risk during rush hour traffic, so it may be a good idea to invest in a reflective collar. They also may wander off in search of a mate during the breeding season, also putting them at risk on the roads. Neutering can help to reduce this behaviour and prevent your cat from venturing out alone at night, where they are at a higher risk due to visibility being reduced.
Dental Hygiene for Cats
It's so tempting to feed your cat treats, especially when you’re all struggled up on the sofa ready to settle down for those cold autumn nights. However, too many treats can affect your pet’s dental health so it’s important we bare that in mind when overindulging. The carefully formulated solution aids to break down plaque and tartar on the teeth without the need of brushing, whilst simultaneously freshening up the breath for odour-free kisses. This product works great alongside the Plaque Remover and is suitable for both cats and dogs over 12 weeks old.
Dental Foam, Wipes and Spray
Within our Dental Range we also have Dental Foam, Dental Spray and Dental Wipes, all of which are made with natural ingredients and are spearmint scented to help freshen the breath and aid in the removal of plaque and tartar. The Dental Foam and Spray are applied directly into the mouth, allowing your pet’s tongue to move the formula around the mouth to aid in its effectiveness and efficiency. The Dental Wipes are simply wrapped around your finger and are used in a circular motion around the teeth to help remove stains and freshen up the breath.
