Since the weather has warmed up my dog Bernie has been shedding like mad. I purchased this tool and I am shocked at the amount of fur that has come off him! He absolutely loves being brushed with it and now looks silky :)

Very effective. First use today on spaniel crest, ears and back, has done a great job pulling out all the loose bits of undercoat. Seems to be more comfortable than his regular comb, minor bribery with biscuits was still required but the fact that he was content to have his ears done with this is- wow.
I've had another brush, but my dog seems to think it's like a dentists tool as he sees it & runs away, but I was never too bothered as he has short furr and is bathed frequently.But, with the black Friday deal I decided to grab this as I use alot of bugalugs products, they always seem to do the trick.Upon arrival I got it out of the packaging, he was willing to come investigate, and seemed willing to let me brush him while he sat there distrusting as he waits for the moment it turns into something scary but he seemed to enjoy it.Much to my surprise, despite my pup being bathed weekly, this took out a generous amount of fluff from his coat (short hair, per photo) and when his weekly bath came a couple of days later, I have to say the hair left in the tub was noticeably reduced, like to the point id usually scrape out a handful and put it in the bin, to what was there simply vanished into the drain.My only gripe is the pink handle, would have preferred a plain black or a blue option as his name's Blue and I've tried to keep his accessories blue, but that's nit picking.At the end of the day - it's a very effective deshedding comb even when you don't think it's necessary.
Good quality animal brush well made and strong
This is a great brush for my long haired cats. The cat featured in my attached video usually hates being brushed but as you can see, he’s quite happy tolerating this one.He’s been getting quite a lot of fur balls recently which I’m sure is down to the fact I can’t brush him enough as he usually wont let me. However, I managed to get so much loose fur off of him using this brush for just 5 minutes.It’s easy to hold and quite comfortable too. I’m sure it’s comfortable for my cats too as they seem quite happy.With that said, I’m definitely happy to recommend 😊

I've never used a deshedding brush before and am so glad I discovered this. Our puppy doesn't shed much, or so I thought but after using this brush, so much of her fur came out. I think it's about that time when they loose their summer fur and get ready for their winter coat. The brush is super easy to use, it's quite sharp though so I would recommend being careful with it and not press it down too much on your pooch. It's lightweight and easy to hold too. Great quality and am very happy with this. It's a staple in our grooming routine now.
This Bugs deshedding brush works really well at getting the dead fur and the dead undercoat out of our dogs. It's primarily designed to be used on double coated dogs, the brush is like a hair comb with very fine teeth. It lifts the dead fur off very easily and helps thin the undercoat.It is made in two pieces the brush head is detachable which helps storage as it's a large brush head. It also helps when cleaning and removing the removed fur.The handle is very ergonomic to hold and fits nicely in the palm, it's not a heavy brush and feels very well made.

This is a good little comb that fits nicely in the hand. The comb part of it can be separated from the handle if you need to use it separately but the handle holds it at the right angle to remove the thatch efficiently.If your cat has a lot of thatch, this comb will take it out, leaving the longer, straighter hairs behind whereas if the cat doesn't have much thatch at all, it doesn't take out much of the long, straight hair.With the 'thatchy' test cat, literally handfuls of thatch hair came out, leaving behind a nice, glossy coat that was even and very unlikely to produce lugs. This cat is a black cat - 22 years old - but has gingery undercoat. Only the undercoat was removed.The 'not-so-thatchy' test cat hardly had any hair removed - just the looser long hairs.I have had cats pretty much all of my life and tried out many different attempts by manufacturers to make a cat comb that works well and this is by far the best I have ever used. It doesn't pull on the skin or hurt the cat although some cats seem to take a bit of time to get used to it but they end up loving it and will come to you so that you can comb them with it.
This deshedding comb is very sturdy and nicely made, if perhaps a little too wide for those of us with short/dense-haired cats. For dogs or long-haired cats I think this could be considered an excellent cheaper version of the original Furminator brush. Certainly worth trying out at only £5.99.

I use this to strip the dead undercoat from my working cocker spaniel. I was initially skeptical as when I groom her with a normal brush nothing comes out, so I wasn’t convinced this would be any different. Wow! With the amount of hair this gets out I could build another dog to keep her company. Easy to hold and use, and the blade clips out for easy cleaning. I had heard that alternatives like Coat King can cut the hair, while this just very gently pulls it out. It makes a huge difference - her fur is so much glossier when she’s been brushed out with this.Highly recommend - my dog gets to feel the wind through her fur, I have far less dog hair on the carpet, and the birds get to use the undercoat for their nests. Everybody wins!

I bought this instead of the furminator, mostly due to the cost. It did an amazing job on my puppy spaniels coat and removed a huge amount of his puppy fluff leaving him looking shiny.
Used this on all 5 of my cats and even my Frenchie. Very easy to use and removes loads of under coat and left my cats and dog feeling lovely and their coats smooth and shines and reduced the amount of fur you get covered in when they have their cuddles. Would highly recommend this comb, value for money

I have a Saint Bernard x Bernese Mountain Dog and she’s been shedding badly for a while now.
