Ive had similar products in the past that made the water go bubbly and slimy - this doesnt happen with this brand. Have only been using it about a week so cant give a full overview on its effectiveness yet but I have high hopes it will do the job as it certainly seems like a great product so far
I have used other water additives in the past for my girls bad breath but she would not drink the water when it was added .
This comes in a bottle and doesn't have a scent. I started adding it to her water a few days ago. I was really pleased because she is drinking the water and doesn't seem to notice any difference.
At the moment, there is no improvement on her breath, but she is happy to drink it, and I believe results will take time. It is definitely easier than using powders and tablets, and is affordable.
I know about doggy toothpaste and brushes, but this sort of product is new to me. I will say my dog-friend does have horrible breath at times (funny how we tolerate smelliness from our furry friends more than from fellow humans!).
Assumed before ordering I'd have to somehow apply it to teeth or to a toothbrush - wasn't sure how well that would go! but, no, you add some to their drinking water instead.

My dog pal definitely isn't as toxic-smelling when he gets near me to say hello, so it seems to be working! Crucially, he doesn't seem notice I'm adding anything to his water!
Suppose the only concern is, as most dogs don't tend to drink *all* their water, (only when it's really hot), that I wonder if they're getting the full effectiveness of the product? But I do think it's having a positive effect.
This liquid does not have any odour or colour to it, which helps make it easily blend into your dog's water without them noticing. It's really important that, as per the instructions, you start off by adding small amounts to your dog's water and gradually building up to the full dose. Adding slowly will help the dog's system get used to the product, which means your dog is less likely to detect it in their water in small amounts to begin with.
I've noticed that plaque is coming away from my dog's teeth a lot easier than before, and my dog's morning breath is less deadly. But it's hard to say if this is this product or a coincidence, as I've not been using it long enough to provide confirmation.
This product has natural, safe ingredients and boasts numerous benefits. Even if there is no confirmation it works, I would still recommend giving it to your dog, as no harm will be done and it might even work.
Time will tell how effective this is at keeping her teeth clean, she is fairly good anyway but this is nice to supplement with her water.
I have only been using this with my dog for a couple of days but have noticed her breath is fresher than before. She doesn’t seem to have noticed a different taste in her water.
The quantity of water you can give with the half capful dosage twice a day is only one cup, which isn’t much given we have a large dog who drinks quite a lot, so I have found myself filling up her water bowl more often than usual. She also doesn’t like to drink right to the bottom of her bowl, so quite a bit of the water with the additive in is being wasted, as you can only give one half capfuls to one cup of water twice a day, according to the bottle label advice.
Overall, I am pleased it seems to work but would be good to have something that can be safely used in more water for larger dogs.
The product itself has no smell and is marketed as tasteless so any fussy dogs will hopefully not be able to detect this in their water. This would be ideal for older dogs who aren't too keen on having their teeth looked at, it is so easy to add 5ml to your dogs water and as they drink it helps to clean the teeth and freshen the breath. It wont be a miracle cleaner but it will certainly give a lot of pet parents peace of mind that they are helping their dogs teeth.
