I'm so pleased that she likes them because they are 100% natural and only contain good ingredients. When I compared the Bugalugs ingredients to the famous brand chews I had been getting regularly from the supermarket, I was shocked. I had been giving my dog dental sticks made mostly from cereals and vegetable oils and with additives. The Bugalug chews are free from artificial ingredients. They are also grain free, low calorie and are made just good natural stuff such as potato, seaweed, chicken, coconut oil, which won't harm a dogs digestive system.
It's a good sized bag with 25 dental chews. It will last us almost a month, so good value too. They don't have much of an odour to me, slightly chicken perhaps. They're not rock hard. They are pliable and won't hurt my dogs mouth and gums.
I cannot say just yet if they will clean my dogs teeth and help to reduce plaque. If she continues to accept and enjoy them however, I will definitely be buying more of these and I will see how her teeth are looking in the coming months. They come in a reseable pouch which is great to keep them fresh; there are 25 in a good sized bag and the chews are approx 9cm in size, perfect for all dogs really depending on the size of treats you like to treat or reward them with.
They are a really handy size for popping in my pocket when we are going on longer hikes.
They smell more natural than some of the other brands I have purchased and also better quality.. (love the fact that they have Irish Seaweed in them that's fabulous).
